Our professional in-house engravers use different techniques, according to the design of each specific project.
Their know-how is essential for the realisation of a high quality product.
The modelling of a plaster mould is used to obtain high relief artistic medals. The engraving of small elements is also easier by the use of that technique.
A large-scale plaster mould is realised by the artists according to the design department plan.
Reducing machines operate the engraving of a master die of size 1:1.
For simpler models or small series, our engravers directly work on the master die or minting die, at a scale of 1:1.
Our CNC machines are used for the inclusion of texts and easy motifs on the minting dies.
2D designs can generally be completely engraved by CNC.
When the master die (positive) is completed, it is used to hob the final tool (negative), called minting die, which is used for the minting of the product.
